Follow the progress of Mr Arttu Heinonen building his Visionarry in Finland
"I started building our proa (no name chosen yet) today. I planked one of two cockpit seats using kiri strips and polyurethane glue. This was a quick job. Only a very small amount of glue is needed between two strips. After finishing the seats next job is to make foam panels, bulkheads and beams. A Professional boat builder is going to continue building in his workshop after I have finished the components. I am a part time builder, so progress will be quite slow. Hopefully my part will be ready next autumn. Our daughter is very interested to whats happening in the garage.
