Week 10: Monday 3rd Feb - Friday 7th Feb 2003

No substantial progress on the boat this week. Rob flew over from Perth to stay the week. We set up a mast making mould and turned out a number of carbon fibre components, fine tuning the process to enable home builders to make their own free standing, carbon fibre masts. We also spent the week discussing the future direction of the harryproa concept and the design and processes involved in making Harryproas easily achievable for the amateur builder.

Jim Shanahan arrived at the end of the week with his son Laurie to lend a hand to get this boat finished on time. Jim will be concentrating on the fairing and painting of the boat.
